Saturday, mini-CG outing....

My cg members sms me early in the morning (I know, I know, 11am+ is not early already), asking me if I wanna join them for something later in the afternoon.....

Stopped sleeping around 1pm+ and wait and wait for them to tell me confirmed location. They thought I was still sleeping at 3+... > < " Anyway, reach some place, some where....

The Karaoke Princess.. haha.. I didn't post the forbidden pic. This must be like my 4th or 5th time in a karaoke place in my entire life.

Still not looking wild but more lightened up. Poor Merv gotta endure the chinese songs.

Carl's Junior Burgers. Crazy man.. they are huge!!! Don't remember them being so huge back in US. Maybe that's the normal size?

Next we went to Suntec, attempting to watch the WCG competition....

However, we went too late! 8pm. The competition ended already !! For the day I mean.

So bo bian.. cannot watch. However, just being in the vicinity made us very inspired and we returned to Marina Square, near the Karaoke place to play Lan gaming. Counter Strike!!!
Tonight 3 new CS-ers were discovered. Merv, CS and Gab. MC and Pris also played. I rediscovered why I didn't like CS. I was totally giddy by the end of the 2 hr gaming session...

Sunday
Today is company outing sponsored by Goldman Sacs. So after service, I made my way down to Suntec by bus, raining real heavy now and traffic at Suntec is always bad during the weekends. I actually ate already, breaking fast but YEK, told me to join them at Marshe, so I went lor.

Next we went to watch the WCG which I missed the previous night!!
The Warcraft, "normal" vs game...very exciting..
They are really serious one.. even got "bouncer" standing behind. These were the professional counter strike players. US trashed the 2nd place to win. Very rare, coz in the 1st set, the 1st 5 games were won by the opposition. 0-5 to US team3D. But subsequently as we were about to leave, they were leading 10-5. 10 wins consecutively. And this American experts went on to win the 2nd set 16-3. Total trashing... but I must say the 2nd placed, Kazakhstan (?) gave them a run for their money in the 0-5 start. According to my friend who read it in the newspapers, they only had dial-up in their country. Amazing sia... to be this good!!

Next we went to watch our sponsored Harry Potter movie!!!

Then we went to the arcade. It was totally booked for GS' invited guests. So cool.... But... but.. there was just too many kids running around and hogging all the games. The most that I got to play was this drumming music game. Played till I sweat alot. I think I not bad, getting like 90% accuracy...? haha.. but its just a game. I can't play the drum for nuts.

Sorry brothers and sisters, for not remembering to ask for more tickets to go with me. My colleagues asked if I had girlfriend to bring along. I said no, but forgot about you guys.. please forgive and forget this incident ever happened haha....I went alone anyways...
Mazda exhibition. okok... I'm almost not sooo obsessed by this curvy, sexy, cool, shiny, beautiful looking form of transportation. Not fuel efficient and too broke to afford a car of my own anyways....
